Season 2 (from 15 October 2026). Prices and unlock levels are from the official Season 2 patch notes. Early Access changes fast: if a number looks off, check it in game and tell us in the comments.
The match in one paragraph
Up to 100 players in three factions (Lonestar blue, Valkyra red, Manticore green) fight over a control zone on a large map. The team with the most players inside the zone scores points, and the first team to 100 points wins. Inside the zone there is a smaller hot zone: every player there counts double and earns double cash. Holding towers reveals digits of a code; entering the code at your faction terminal pulls the hot zone towards you. A match easily lasts an hour or more.
Money is your life bar
- Everyone starts the season once with $10,000. Cash carries over from match to match.
- You buy your kit every life at the Equipment Vendor in your safe zone. If you go down and nobody revives you, the kit is gone. A revive saves it.
- The top right of the screen shows your account balance and, below it, the profit or loss of the current life.
- You earn for kills, revives, healing, spotting, transporting players, delivering supplies, building and simply being in the zone. Read how money works for the numbers.
Your first purchases
- Armour before the gun. A Level 1 helmet ($200) and Level 1 armour ($400) unlock at WARDOG level 3 and stop many cheap deaths.
- The free rifle is enough at first. In Season 2 the AK74 is unlocked by default and costs $800.
- Two magazines plus loose ammo. Refill magazines from loose ammo in the inventory instead of buying many full magazines. You need a backpack to carry ammo; the Pouch is free.
- Bandages ($200 each), then smoke. White smoke unlocks at Medic 5 and saves more lives than a second magazine.
- Binoculars ($180). Spotting enemies for your team pays you an assist when they die.
Levelling in one minute
There are six role tracks: Assault, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot. The game levels the track that matches what you do (rifle kills level Assault, healing levels Medic, spotting levels Recon and so on). Your WARDOG level is the sum of all role levels and unlocks armour, helmets, vests and backpacks. Reaching a level only makes an item available: you pay a one-time unlock fee, then the vendor price every time you buy it. Details in how levelling works.
Habits that keep you alive (and rich)
- Stay until the end of the match. The end-of-match bonus is one of the biggest payouts.
- Play near your team or join a squad. Lone wolves lose kits.
- Move after every action. Assume you were spotted.
- Watch the death replay and ask what you would change.
- Turn off picture-in-picture scopes in the settings if your frame rate drops.
