Building and FOBs: hammers, costs and a base that holds
What each hammer builds, the Season 2 build costs, drill rigs, and how to lay out walls, airlocks and mortar pits.

Season 2 (from 15 October 2026). Prices and unlock levels are from the official Season 2 patch notes. Early Access changes fast: if a number looks off, check it in game and tell us in the comments.
The basics
- A FOB costs $7,500. It is not a spawn point; it is a base that supplies your team, mortars, anti-air and drill rigs.
- Builds use supplies brought in by logistics. Four supply types exist: build, ammo, fuel and mechanical. In Season 2 the ammo, fuel and mechanical pallets are WARDOG unlocks (levels 9, 16 and 5).
- Building levels Support. Destroying enemy buildables now levels Assault.

In Season 2 hammers cannot breach doors or gates any more; the Halligan bar ($885) does.

Drill rigs now need at least 2,000 fuel to start and run for at most 300 seconds.
A base that holds
- Hammer technique: hit the moving yellow mark and swing again immediately. It builds much faster than holding the swing.
- Walls: long, flat outer walls with bunkers sticking out, barbed wire in front. Barbed wire and sandbags can now sit on top of Bremmer walls.
- Doors in pairs: one charge opens a door, so build airlocks. Vehicles need a longer airlock.
- Spread the mortars so one shell does not take them all, and build them in raised pits.
- Protect key assets (anti-air, the spawn APC) under shelters.
- Everyone should carry a small hammer for repairs.
