Galil mid-game assault: Level 2 armour and C4 for FOBs
The Galil with a brake, an angled grip and a 2.5x optic, Level 2 armour and C4. Built for pushing the zone and breaking enemy bases, which now levels Assault.

Why this build
Attachments unlocked on one track work on every weapon. If you played some medic, the AFG Angled Foregrip from Medic 11 is the best early grip for your rifle. Without Medic levels, take the Assault only variant: Rubberized Ergonomic Foregrip (Assault 11), Kobra Reflex and Level 1 armour before WARDOG 30.
The Hexagon Brake (strong horizontal recoil reduction) and the AFG keep a full-auto burst on target at medium range; the 2.5x optic covers the 50–200 m fights around the zone.
Buy a Galil 35 RND Magazine with the rifle and two spares; the extended 50-round magazine comes later.
Assault is the base-breaking role in Season 2: C4 and IED damage, destroying buildables and hacking FOBs all give Assault XP. Hacking a FOB pays $2,500, destroying it adds up to $7,500.
How to play it
Push with your squad, clear the zone edge, then go for the enemy FOB or drill rig when the fight stalls. Plant C4 on mortars, anti-air and the drill. Use the smoke to cover the plant, not to hide in.
Next step
The TCX-SPR (Assault 20, $3,200) and the M4 (Assault 28, $2,800) rank near the top of early Season 2 tier lists. The FAL (Assault 35, $6,000) still has the highest damage per shot of the class but lost 25% base damage.
