Hudi tracked fifteen infantry-only matches and made a profit in most of them. The method matters more than the numbers.

The method

  • Decide what this life is for before you buy anything: hold a point, raid a FOB, kill a drill.
  • Armour first. Spend on the best armour you can afford before you spend on the gun.
  • A rifle that does not waste money: standard ammo, a low-magnification optic, a grip and a muzzle device, two spare magazines and loose ammo.
  • Meds: bandages, one or two first-aid kits and smoke.
  • When you are broke: armour, the free starter gun, a backpack and cheap binoculars. Spot for your team while you rebuild.
  • Play with people. Fight near teammates or join a squad, move after every action and watch your death replays.
