Season 2 made supplies cost money and pays supply runs by delivery streaks. That reshuffled the ways to earn.

Ranking in short

Best: building (low risk, you only need a hammer), supply runs with the large transport helicopter (safest on infantry-only servers) and cheap hollow-point pistol or SMG play.
Good: spotting as Recon near the hot zone, even though spotting pays less than in Season 1.
Middle: healing and reviving pay well but are risky. Assault pays better than in Season 1 but kits are expensive.
Weakest: truck supply runs (drivers get sniped on roads, so carry a wrench) and mortars (they need supplies and draw counter-fire).
