Medic guide for Season 2: unlocks, kit and how medics earn

Season 2 (from 15 October 2026). Prices and unlock levels are from the official Season 2 patch notes. Early Access changes fast: if a number looks off, check it in game and tell us in the comments.

Medics level from healing, reviving and SMG kills. Season 2 reshuffled their unlocks more than any other track.

A medic kit

• Weapon: Bizon or MP5 with a holographic or reflex sight. SMG kills level the medic track. 9x19 hollow-point ammo unlocks at WARDOG 10.
• Armour: Level 1–2 to stay fast, a vest for quickslots.
• Meds: bandages, an IFAK or two, the Field Resuscitator early and the Medical Bag from level 14.
• Smoke, a lot of it. Medics without smoke die on the first revive.
• Backpack: big enough for meds and smoke.

How medics earn

Revives pay more than heals, and everything pays double in the hot zone. Healing yourself pays nothing. Adrenaline pens used on teammates were a top earner in Season 1 and now unlock at level 16.

Reviving without dying

• Smoke first, then move. Throw the smoke as a wall between the enemy and your patient, not on top of the patient, and wait for it to spread.
• Ping downed teammates and open the map to see their health.
• A defibrillator revive from cover is often safer than dragging. Note that a downed player in a Heavy kit reportedly cannot be dragged.
• Expect enemies to wait for medics. Do not run straight to the body.
