Legacy Gaming: base building tips

Season 1 video. The Season 2 wipe on 15 October 2026 changed unlock levels, prices and some damage values. The skills still apply; check the numbers in game. In Season 2 the hammer can no longer breach doors and gates.

Highlights

• Hammer technique: hit the moving yellow mark and swing again right away. It roughly doubles your building speed.
• Walls: long flat outer walls with bunkers sticking out, barbed wire outside, and blast walls on both sides of the Hesco against artillery and grenades.
• Entrances: stack doors into airlocks, because one charge opens a door. Vehicles need a longer airlock; drivers honk to be let in.
• Mortars: spread them around the base in raised pits.
• Protect what matters: anti-air guns in raised shelters and the spawn APC in a garage.
• Everyone should carry a basic hammer for repairs.
